Lynette's Fundraiser to Support Send A Smile Today

Hello friends,

If you would like to help support Send A Smile Today, please consider making a donation during the Northwest Arkansas Gives campaign.

Send A Smile Today has held a special place in my heart since the very beginning 13 years ago. Our daughter Kim, after her own cancer journey, was ready to give back and make a difference for others facing cancer.

Kim began by sending handmade cards each month to cancer patients. That first year, I learned how to make cards so I could donate them to Send A Smile Today and some of you even joined in the card making. Since then, Kim has lifted the spirits of so many people. Now, in 2026, Send A Smile Today sends more than 800 handmade cards every month to brighten the days of those going through cancer treatment.

$25  = Gives hope to 32 cancer patients by covering the cost of stamp

$50  = Gives hope to 64 cancer patients by covering the cost of stamps

Any donation of $5 or more helps Send A Smile Today reach their goal. Donate $10 or more from 8:00 a.m. CST April 2 - 8:00 p.m. CST April 9 and you will be entered into the Send A Smile Today random prize drawing (one entry per person) to win one of the following prizes. Send A Smile Today will announce the winners on their Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn socials at 9:00 p.m. CST April 9 2026. Winners will be notified directly by email from Send A Smile Today by 10:00 p.m. CST on April 9.

About Send A Smile Today

The mission of Send A Smile Today® is to let cancer patients know they are never alone by regularly mailing uplifting greeting cards: from time of cancer diagnosis - through treatment - to survivorship. Cards are mailed monthly to ANYONE of ANY age with ANY TYPE of cancer in the United States and are meant to provide hope, love and support.

Since its inception in 2013, Send A Smile Today® has mailed over 60,000 heartfelt greeting cards to nearly 6,000 people facing cancer in all 50 states. Send A Smile Today® is supported by generous donations of handmade uplifting greeting cards, A9 self-sealing envelopes, Forever postage stamps and monetary contributions. These donations allow Send A Smile Today to send cards each month to individuals fighting cancer who have signed up on their website sendasmiletoday.org. There is no cost to sign up for these cards, as their dedicated donors fully fund the operation.
