Vinitha's Fundraising For Ra-Ve

I support Ra-Ve because it reconnects me with the rich traditions my family instilled in me from an early age. I began learning Bharatanatyam at four, surrounded by a home that celebrated traditional dance and music—even if, as a child, I didn’t fully grasp the depth of those experiences. Now here in NWA, I want to share that same transformative journey with others.

Ra-Ve offers an experience that’s truly unparalleled. For instance, witnessing a santoor performance here was a revelation—something you rarely encounter elsewhere. I understand that young students of the violin or Indian classical arts might not immediately appreciate these nuances. Yet, as they grow, they will come to value these artistic experiences just as I grew to appreciate the wisdom and passion my parents and especially my grandmother shared with me.

After attending many concerts that left me feeling uninspired at young age, Ra-Ve reignited my love for live performances. It’s a blessing to meet masters of their art up close, learn from them, and even witness extraordinary moments—like having the Gods of Carnatic grace NWA and bestow their blessings on my son.

For the sake of our children, our families, and our community, supporting organizations like Ra-Ve is essential. There is no other group that curates such a sustained, enriching blend of art and culture that truly honors our roots.
