Community Land Trust Stewardship

Our Stewardship Fund exists for exactly that moment, helping to cover unexpected repairs and connect homeowners with qualified professionals so families don't have to choose between fixing their home and making their mortgage payment. Because keeping a family stable in their home long-term is just as important as getting them there in the first place.

Community Land Trust Stewardship also includes: 

• Homeowner education including pre-purchase counseling, financial literacy, and post-purchase workshops
• Ongoing check-ins with homeowners to catch small issues before they become big ones
• Foreclosure prevention support connecting homeowners with resources if they fall behind on payments
• Home maintenance training teaching owners basic upkeep skills to protect their investment
• Resale assistance guiding homeowners through the CLT resale process when they're ready to sell
• Community building programming that fosters neighbor relationships and investment in the shared community
