From Crisis to Self-Sufficiency

At Havenwood, we are dedicated to empowering single mothers and their children to move from crisis to self-sufficiency. For over 30 years, we have proudly served as a lifeline for more than 500 single mothers and over 1,000 children, providing housing, resources, and unwavering support to help families build brighter, more stable futures.

Our mission is to offer a hand up, not a handout, guiding families from homelessness and uncertainty toward lasting stability, hope, and success. A safe, stable home is foundational to this journey, and at Havenwood, it is the heart of our program. Through Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA), we assist qualified families in securing affordable housing, creating a strong foundation for growth and healing.

Beyond housing, our comprehensive services include individualized case management, parenting classes, and job readiness training, all tailored to each family’s unique needs. We are here to ensure that every parent has the tools to overcome barriers, including help with transportation and access to essential resources, so they can thrive.
