Each year, 40,000+ people gather for NWA Pride Weekend, the largest celebration of the LGBTQ community in Arkansas. In a state where visibility can be a lifeline, NWA Pride brings Queer Arkansans and allies together in community, support, and celebration. A powerful reminder that they belong here, and can build their lives here.

As a Family Medicine physician, I see this play out clinically. Community connection isn't just meaningful; it's measurably protective for LGBTQ patients. Isolation is a risk factor. Belonging is medicine.
