The The Women’s Empowerment Mentor Network (WEMN) officially launched its first Mentor Circle in 2024 to uplift young women through purposeful mentoring, financial literacy, skill building, and community engagement. The momentum of our first eight mentees propelled us to become an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit in March 2025 and grow to 10 mentees per mentoring circle.

WEMN’s progressive circles and 2:1 mentoring model begin with young women in their junior year of high school and continue through freshman year of college and into early career. As part of this commitment, each high school junior mentee earns a one-time $1,000 scholarship to support her next step after high school — an investment in both her potential and her future. Our mission is to empower young women through evolving, inclusive programming and mentorship from diverse women leaders, fostering self-confidence, unity, and personal development.

We were designed to walk alongside young women through life’s defining transitions. With your support through NWA Gives, this is more than a fundraising moment — it’s a regional movement of generosity. Every dollar fuels real impact — from high school juniors finding their voice to college freshmen and early-career women stepping confidently into leadership. NWA Gives amplifies community, and community is exactly how WEMN builds the next generation of leaders.
