Help Whiskers Rescue Save Cats This Kitten Season

This year, we’re bracing for an exceptionally busy kitten season. We anticipate taking in at least 100 kittens, each costing $150 or more for food, litter, and veterinary care—and that’s a conservative estimate. We do not receive any government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of our community through donations and grants. Recently, community donations have declined, and we’re struggling to cover the cost of basic necessities.

Every donation matters. Your support provides essential supplies like food, litter, and bedding, and helps cover spay/neuter procedures and vaccinations to keep cats healthy and prevent future litters. It also ensures we can provide veterinary care for sick or injured cats when necessary. Your contribution truly gives these animals a second chance at life.

Despite running a very small administrative and foster team, we move mountains every year with the help of our community. Every donation and adoption helps us continue this lifesaving work.

About Whiskers Rescue

Whiskers Rescue is a 501(c)(3) women-operated, volunteer-run non-profit dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and rehoming cats and kittens in Northwest Arkansas. Every year, we care for an average of 400 cats, from tiny kittens to adult cats, including strays, owner surrenders, survivors of hoarding, and occasional cat colonies to prevent future litters. We also partner with local pet stores that provide adoption cubbies and rooms, helping us find forever homes faster.
