You’ve probably heard the phrase “woke up on the wrong side of the bed.” Perhaps you’ve even used that phrase.  We often hear it or use it when someone is in a cranky mood.

This is because good sleep in a bed is vital to our health and well-being.

Beds are the number one requested item in child welfare cases. Beds are necessary for prevention, placement, and permanency.  Children deserve a safe, comfortable place to rest.

We receive anywhere from 5 to 10 requests each week for twin beds and cribs.

Beds are needed in every single family.

Prevention: Beds are needed to keep children in their homes safely.

Placement: Family members and Foster Families often need extra beds fast and on short notice to make room for new placements.

Permanency: Often parents need help with beds so children can return home safely.

Children deserve a safe, comfortable place to rest.

The beds we need to purchase are new and come in small compact packaging so they are easy to store in our support centers and can easily be picked up and transported in any vehicle day or night! This will reduce the barriers of storing large items and not always having a vehicle to transport them.  Below are photos of the bed frame and mattress in the original packaging.

With your help, we can keep many of these on hand in our support centers so that anytime a family needs a bed, there is one available!

Our goal is to raise $80,000 to fully fund 500 beds for children over the next year.

  • $30 buys twin bedding
  • $50 buys a twin bed frame
  • $80 buys a twin mattress
  • $100 buys a mini crib
