Our Mission:

Saving Grace offers hope and transformation to young women aging out of foster care or facing homelessness through relationships, coaching, and opportunities that empower generational change—trusting God with the outcome.

Our Story:

Saving Grace NWA founder, Becky Shaffer was removed from her abusive home and placed into foster care at the age of 12. After experiencing healing from the trauma endured over the years, she began to feel God leading her to start a ministry for young women aging out of foster care or facing homelessness. God has used her story to transform the lives of more than 150 vulnerable girls in Northwest Arkansas.

What started as one woman’s story of healing has become a place of belonging for young women across Northwest Arkansas.

Because of this community, more than 250 young women have found stability, support, and a path forward.

And now—Saving Grace is growing.

We’ve expanded from 11 rooms to 29 rooms, welcoming more young women than ever before into safe housing and life-changing programming.

This Year’s Focus: Keep Grace Moving

A safe place to live is just the beginning.

Every day, “Grace” is working toward independence—
getting to jobs, attending school, showing up for counseling, learning life skills, and taking steps toward a future she never thought possible.

But none of that happens without transportation.

A generous gift has helped us take a step forward, but we still need to cover the ongoing costs of:

• Maintenance
