For many years, individuals with disabilities faced barriers that limited their opportunities, often being labeled or underestimated. In 1958, children with special needs had no place in the public education system, and access to essential resources was scarce.

That’s why Sunshine School & Development Center was founded—to break down those barriers and create opportunities where none existed. Since then, we have served thousands of children and families in Northwest Arkansas, providing critical services that empower individuals to reach their full potential. But access remains a challenge. Reliable transportation is essential for the children and families we serve, ensuring they can attend therapy sessions, educational programs, and community activities that foster growth and independence.

With your support, we can expand our transportation services, ensuring that every child and adult with disabilities in our care has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive—without limits.
