Asheilly's Story

“He became possessive, controlling, abusing, and almost killed me. I thought it was my fault, so I made up excuses for him. The NAW Second Stage Transition domestic classes thought me not to define myself as a victim but made me understand that I am a woman with a powerful story of suffering and survival. I am also learned to put a safety plan in place and not to keep silent because my life can be saved. The class taught me how to find peace and discover a true sense of belonging and personal growth.”

Your donations will enable us to provide support and services to others like Asheilly in the NWA Community. Our goal is to raise $20.000 to help cover part of our budget for safe shelter, programs, and educational services like life skills, parenting, skills, and domestic violence prevention.

The NWASST experienced a substantial increase in services to individuals and families. During the year 2022, we were able to grow the number of people we helped.

2022 Service Results
