For many children, ballet is something they've only seen in pictures - or never encountered at all.

We bring the art form to them.

In these moments, children are discovering beauty, imagination, and storytelling come to life in the unique way only ballet can offer. As 2026 rolls in, we want to expand the efforts we made last year in the children's shelter, children’s hospital, library programs, and schools. Help us open the door so they can experience what art in motion feels like.

Season 2025 Outreach Events (Beginning in August)

- June 9 to June 16, 2025: ArtSpark Camps @The University of Arkansas (60 Attendees)

- August 22, 2025: Amazeum staff visit to studios for a trial class. Adapting to transient participants/audience members, fine motor skills, and historical ballet elements. (7 Staff Attendees)

- September 13, 2025: Community Spotlight @Amazeum; performance, ballet history, pointe shoe construction and deconstruction, ballet positions (100+ Attendees, children with guardians)

- October 31, 2025: Halloween visit @NWA Children's Shelter. Full performance of Dracula Here, Now: The Sequel and dancers assist with children's Halloween makeup for trunk or treat. (11 Children Attendees)

- November 7, 2025: Movement class for kids and parents in the Art & Movement Room @Fayetteville Public Library (20 Children Attendees)

- November 15, 2025: A Street Promenade Grand Opening @Downtown Bentonville. Performance of Nutcracker Variations and photo opportunities with dancers. (50-80+ Attendees)

- November 29, 2025: Super Saturday Nutcracker excerpts, story, and movement class @Fayetteville Public Library. (100-150+ Attendees)

- December 3, 2025: Nutcracker excerpts, story, and  movement class @Gentry Public Library. (20 Attendees)

- December 10, 2025: Nutcracker excerpts, story, and movement class @Westwood Elementary. (80-100+ Attendees)

- December 11, 2025: Nutcracker Appearance @Good Day NWA (aired event)

- January 3, 2026: Winter Break Wonders Ballet @Crystal Bridges, Lecture, Demonstration, and Performance Attendees)
