Every day, veterans and first responders carry burdens most people will never see. Mission 4:19 Outdoors exists to give them a place to lay those burdens down — even if just for a day — in the quiet of God’s creation.
Mission 4:19 Outdoors is a faith-centered outdoor ministry serving veterans, first responders, and their families across the United States. Through guided hunting trips, fishing outings, and outdoor fellowship experiences, we create opportunities for warriors to reconnect with their faith, build lasting brotherhood, and experience restoration in the outdoors.
Many of the men and women who protect our communities and country face immense pressures that continue long after their service ends. Whether they wear a military uniform, a badge, or serve in emergency response, these individuals often carry the emotional weight of what they have experienced. Too often, they carry it alone.
Mission 4:19 Outdoors was founded on the belief that God’s creation has a powerful ability to restore the soul. In the quiet moments of a sunrise over water, in the stillness of a hunting blind, or around a campfire after a day outdoors, conversations begin that rarely happen anywhere else. Walls come down. Stories are shared. Faith is strengthened. Brotherhood is built.
Our mission is rooted in three guiding principles:
Faith. Fellowship. Field.
We believe that when these three elements come together, powerful things happen.
Through carefully planned outdoor experiences, participants are welcomed into an environment built on respect, encouragement, and shared understanding. These events are not simply recreational outings. They are opportunities for warriors to reconnect with God, build relationships with others who understand their journey, and find encouragement through fellowship.
Mission 4:19 Outdoors works to create meaningful experiences where participants can slow down, breathe deeply, and remember that they are not alone. The outdoors becomes a place where faith can be renewed, friendships can grow, and hope can be restored.
While our roots are strong in Arkansas, Mission 4:19 Outdoors is committed to serving veterans and first responders wherever opportunities arise. Our long-term vision is to expand these mission experiences so that more warriors across the country have access to the encouragement and fellowship they deserve.
Support from the Northwest Arkansas community through NWA Gives plays an important role in helping us continue and grow this mission. Donations help provide the resources necessary to organize safe, meaningful outdoor experiences for veterans and first responders.
Contributions help support:
• Outdoor mission events and guided experiences
• Equipment and safety preparation
• Meals and fellowship gatherings
• Transportation and logistical support for participants
But more importantly, your support helps provide something far greater: time, community, and encouragement for those who have spent their lives serving others.
A gift of $50 helps sponsor a veteran or first responder for a Mission 4:19 outdoor experience, providing an opportunity to spend time in God’s creation surrounded by faith, fellowship, and support.
Together, we can ensure that the men and women who serve our communities and our country have a place where they can reconnect, recharge, and be reminded that they are valued and supported.
Thank you for partnering with Mission 4:19 Outdoors and helping us continue restoring warriors through God’s creation.
