Methodist Family Health provides the best possible care for Arkansans who face abandonment, abuse, or neglect, or struggle with psychiatric, behavioral, and emotional issues. The Foundation supports clients with necessities and therapeutic items to ensure the focus is on healing. Founded by the state’s Methodists in 1899 and widely known as the Methodist Children’s Home, MFH evolved to meet ever-changing mental health needs and now serves more than 4,000 individuals and their families each year. While the name honors our roots, we provide care for anyone in need. MFH services include inpatient behavioral hospitals, residential treatment, a therapeutic day school, outpatient and school-based counseling, Kaleidoscope Grief Center and Arkansas CARES, a substance use recovery program for pregnant women and mothers.
