The League of Women Voters of Arkansas is a non-partisan organization committed to fostering an informed and engaged electorate. We provide reliable, nonpartisan information about elections beginning with the voting process to candidates’ positions, registering voters, holding elected officials accountable, and protecting voting rights, but we can’t do this work without YOU!

HELP EMPOWER VOTERS

The Challenge: Too many Arkansans are left out of the democratic process before it even begins. Arkansas ranks near the bottom nationally in voter registration and election participation, with the widest gap among voters under 35. Without intentional outreach, tens of thousands will remain unheard in 2026. (NCoC Arkansas Civic Health Index, 2024)

Our Solution: With your help, thousands of new voters will be added to the rolls through registration drives on campus and in communities. But the work doesn't stop at registration. LWVAR continues to provide resources and nonpartisan election information to help new voters feel confident at the polls. Because of your support, communities that have long been ignored will see their numbers reflected at the ballot box, building long-term civic power.

We’re in court successfully challenging unconstitutional laws that harm our democracy and advocating for policy that keeps power where it belongs, in the hands of the people, not the politicians.
