Our Mission: Kidz N Cameras was founded to provide children with a creative outlet to express themselves through the art of photography. Many young people struggle to find ways to communicate their feelings and experiences, which can sometimes lead to issues at home, school, or even the law. For others, it’s a matter of social anxiety or introversion, making it challenging to come out of their shell and connect with the world around them.

Through photography, we give kids the tools to express themselves, build confidence, and discover their unique voice. Our workshops and camps offer more than just technical skills—they provide a safe space for children to explore their emotions, understand the power of their own story, and foster a sense of community.

How Your Donations Help: Donations to Kidz N Cameras on NWA Gives Day will go directly toward:

• Photography Equipment: Cameras, iPads, tripods, and other tools to ensure every child has access to the right resources.

• Workshops & Camps: Funding monthly workshops and our summer camp that teach kids photography techniques and provide mentorship.

• Instructors: Hiring talented professionals who guide the kids and inspire them to reach their full potential.

• Nonprofit Maintenance: Keeping the nonprofit running smoothly so we can continue offering life-changing programs to kids in our community.

What We’re Working on This Year:

• Monthly Workshops: Throughout the year, we offer workshops that dive deeper into photography, post-production, and creative expression.

• Summer Camp: Our summer camp at The Momentary brings teens together to learn the ins and outs of photography, culminating in a final project that showcases their work.

• Photo Contest and Awards Ceremony: On April 25th, join us for the Emotions in Nature & Wildlife Photography Contest Award Ceremony at Crystal Bridges. During this exciting event, we’ll reveal the contest winners and award $2,500 worth of incredible prizes, including 3 mirrorless cameras. It will be a celebration of the participants’ dedication, creativity, and achievements, inspiring them to continue exploring their passion for photography.
