Hub of HOPE

Your generous gift on NWA Gives Day will help victims of human trafficking get to safety and build a stable life on the other side! Every dollar raised provides a survivor with practical help with things like safe shelter, food, clothing, education, life skills, support groups, and so much more. 

This NWA Gives, we are hoping to raise $32,000 and we need YOUR help to do it. There's a lot that happens at Hub of HOPE, and your generous gift will provide each crucial piece  - from victim advocacy to prevention and awareness - your gift provides them all! Hub of HOPE is a 501c3 nonprofit and all gifts are tax deductible.  

When you first learned that human trafficking was happening right here in NWA, did you imagine someone like Mila?

After running away from an abusive home at age 18, Mila found herself at the constant mercy of strangers—always one moment away from sleeping on the street. So when she met a guy who said he wanted to take care of her and love her forever, Mila thought she was finally safe. 

Sadly, her sense of safety was quickly shattered when she found herself being trafficked in exchange for food and shelter. Although she experienced regular violence and abuse, Mila reasoned with herself that this horrible reality was better than being hungry and homeless.

How would she get out? Where would she go? Who would even care about her now?

When people like Mila ask, "who would care about me now?", I know that the answer is US. YOU care. I care. And together, we can bring light into the dark places where people like Mila feel forgotten and without hope.
