What does it mean to be a Partner Family with Habitat for Humanity? Habitat has a Family Selection Committee who takes great care in choosing our Partner Families.  The Partner Families choose to partner with Habitat through our homeownership program. Habitat caters a unique, interest free mortgage to fit the families budget.  Partner families are required to attend trainings on Owning a Home, Budgeting, Credit Counseling, etc.  They are also required to serve 400 Sweat Equity Hours and help build their home.
