#1-4 Secondary Schools in Arkansas - #3 Charter School in the Country - #13 Overall High School in the U.S.

Please support Haas Hall Academy and NWA Gives on our annual "Day of Giving" - Thursday, April 6 2023!

Haas Hall is a nationally-recognized college preparatory public (tuition-free) school of choice, serving secondary education (grades 7-12) scholars via four Northwest Arkansas campuses located in Bentonville, Fayetteville, Rogers and Springdale.

The Academy's mission is to provide an aggressive, encouraging and supportive alternative to the traditional learning environment for scholars with a high intensity of purpose, helping them to succeed at prestigious institutions of higher education and become leaders in their communities and of society.

From humble beginnings in a retrofitted dairy barn outside of Farmington, with an initial enrollment of just 17 in the Fall of 2004 to over 1,300 scholars today, HHA has evolved to become Arkansas's top performing school academically for over a decade running.

In November 2022, the annual school accountability (ESSA - Every Student Succeeds Act) scores and letter grades were released, with HHA campuses being ranked #1-4 among high schools in the state and all four receiving a letter grade of "A" (only 8% of all K-12 schools did so, compared to 16% in 2019).

In addition to being ranked #1 in Benton and Washington Counties, and Arkansas, Haas Hall Academy has been recognized as the #3 charter school and the #13 high school overall in the nation by U.S. News & World Report (April 2022), and has earned the only Gold Medal for Education in Arkansas placing it among the Top 1% of America's most challenging schools.

While the accomplishments above are wonderful to recognize, celebrate and build upon, they simply would not be possible without the generous philanthropy - "love for humankind" - from caring and sharing people like you, who kindly support us with their time, talent and resources.

Those who understand and value the importance of equal opportunity and access to high-quality secondary education for all. As Hall Hall receives significantly less funding than our traditional public and private school counterparts in NWA, tax-deductible gifts are essential in helping to offset the difference.

During the 2020-2021 academic year, which due to the pandemic included some virtual learning, per pupil expenditures at the Academy were up to 50+% less than other area public schools. Typically, during normal school years, the financial disparity is even greater.

HHA is the most effective and efficient in-person secondary school in Arkansas. The impact of charitable investments result in not only the state's highest attendance, graduation and matriculation rates; college readiness and performance indicator (achievement, growth and quality/student success) rankings; and test scores, but also much needed scholarships for nonacademic experiences.

Haas Hall Academy's STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) education program focuses on developing well-rounded individuals, by encouraging innovative ways of thinking, learning and demonstrating knowledge gained, at one's own pace. Even though Haas Hall is tuition-free, at times scholars may find themselves in need of assistance.

To encourage, support and sustain their success, with the help of our donors, anonymous grants are offered internally for a variety of opportunities, including but not limited to: application and testing fees; arts and humanities study; athletics, clubs and extracurricular activities; free tutoring; internet access; personal attire/uniforms, nutrition and wellness; and school security, technology and transportation.

"What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.

It is what difference we have made in the lives of others,

that will determine the significance of the life we lead."

The Academy is proud to partner with NWA Gives for our annual "Day of Giving." This year, we are encouraging recurring gifts of $10-$25 monthly per scholar at all four campuses. Please help us!

All gifts are welcome, meaningful and appreciated, and they truly have a positive impact on our efforts and collective futures. Charitable investments in Haas Hall Academy - our people, places and purpose - generate excellent returns, that are never ending, as alumni, scholars and generations to come pay it forward.

Thank you for selecting and supporting Haas Hall as your school of choice. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you, and yours, as we all help make our home region - Northwest Arkansas - an excellent environment for experiencing, learning and living!
