#1 Secondary School (Grades 7-12) in Arkansas + #8 Charter School in the Nation + #45 High School Overall in the United States

Please Support Haas Hall Academy with Our Annual Spring "Day of Giving," Held in Conjunction with NWA Gives 2024, Now - April 4!

Haas Hall Academy (HHA) is an award-winning, college preparatory, public secondary school of choice, serving scholars at four Northwest Arkansas campuses (Bentonville, Fayetteville, Rogers and Springdale) and now a new River Valley campus in Fort Smith.

HHA's mission is to provide an aggressive, encouraging and supportive alternative to the traditional learning environment for scholars with a high intensity of purpose, helping them to succeed at prestigious institutions of higher education, become leaders in their communities and pillars of society.

From humble beginnings with just 17 scholars in the Fall of 2004 to nearly 1,500 learning across multiple counties today (our 20th year), HHA has evolved to become Arkansas's top performing school academically for more than a dozen years running.

The most recent school accountability (ESSA) scores and letter grades released by the Arkansas Department of Education ranked HHA campuses in the Top 1% of all schools statewide, with each NWA campus receiving a grade of "A" (only 8% of all K-12 schools did so).

In addition to being ranked #1 locally and statewide, HHA has been recognized as the #8 charter school and the #45 high school overall nationally by U.S. News & World Report. HHA also earned the highest AP Honor Roll Status of Platinum, placing it among the Top 1% of America's most challenging schools.

While these accomplishments are wonderful to recognize, celebrate and build upon, they simply would not be possible without the generous philanthropy - "love of humanity" - from caring, generous and sharing people like you, who kindly support HHA with their time, talent and resources.

Those who understand and value the importance of equal opportunity and access to high-quality, tuition-free education for everyone. As HHA receives significantly less funding than our traditional public and private school counterparts, your tax-deductible gifts are essential to helping HHA offset the difference.

During the 2021-2022 academic year (most recent data), actual per pupil expenditures at HHA were up to 54.7% less than other area public school districts, 47% less than the state average and 78% less than the national average. This disparity makes HHA the most effective and efficient secondary school in Arkansas, and perhaps the country.

The positive outcomes of your charitable gifts to HHA not only result in the state's highest attendance, graduation and matriculation rates; college readiness and performance indicator rankings (achievement, growth and quality/student success); and test scores, but also in much needed assistance and scholarships for extracurricular activities and nonacademic experiences.

HHA's unique STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) education program focuses on developing well-rounded individuals by encouraging innovative ways of thinking, learning and demonstrating knowledge gained, at one's own pace.

Although HHA is tuition-free, at times scholars may find themselves in need of personal/private help. To encourage, support and sustain their success, with the help of our community, anonymous grants are offered internally for a variety of assistance opportunities.

The above includes: application, testing and tutoring fees; arts and humanities study; athletics, clubs and other activities; attire/uniforms, nutrition and wellness; communications and internet access; and school security, technology and transportation.

"What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.

It is what difference we have made in the lives of others,

that will determine the significance of the life we lead."

- Nelson Mandela -

Being our 20th academic year, HHA is encouraging recurring gifts of $20 per month per scholar at all campuses. Please participate and help us reach our 2023-2024 Annual Giving goal of $200,000.

All gifts are welcome, meaningful and appreciated, and truly have positive impacts on our collective efforts and futures. Charitable investments in HHA - for our people, places and purpose - generate excellent returns, that are never ending, as alumni, scholars and generations to come pay it forward.

Thank you for selecting and supporting HHA as your school of choice. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you, and yours, as we all help make Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley excellent environments for experiencing, learning and living!
