ABOUT ARISA HEALTH

Welcome to Arisa Health - the largest non-profit provider of behavioral health services in Arkansas. Our mission is to transform communities one life at a time by providing exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. We offer a whole-health approach that includes mental health, medical, certified substance use, and paraprofessional services to ensure that our clients receive top-quality care.  

Our accreditation from CARF (Commission for Accreditation of Rehab Facilities) and certification from the Department of Human Services reflect our commitment to providing exceptional care. We serve over 53,000 individuals annually across 41 counties in the state, including those who are uninsured or underinsured. We are proud to have been established in 2020 through the affiliation of four established community mental health centers in Arkansas, including Counseling Associates, MidSouth Health Systems, Ozark Guidance, and Professional Counseling Associates.

We are currently running a Youth Summer Program benefiting 1,300 students across nine counties in Arkansas. Research underscores the importance of mental health support for children, with improved academic outcomes among those who receive such services. In the U.S., the demand for youth mental health services is escalating, with one in five children facing mental health challenges during their school years. Arisa Health's school-based approach has been proven effective, breaking down barriers to access and preventing crises. 

The summer program is tailored to meet the social and emotional needs of students, ensuring continuity of care during the break.
